What is PsychoTherapy?
A process between a mental health professional and an individual (or individuals) seeking support for emotional/mental challenges. It offers a safe and confidential space to explore and express thoughts and feelings, become aware of new perspectives, develop coping strategies, and work towards personal growth, improved relationships, and healing.
Will my personal information and what I share remain private?
Yes. All Client information is CONFIDENTIAL and HIPPA-COMPLIANT. Like other Medical Providers, Therapists are held by ethical and legal standards to do so.
Will you prescribe medication?
No. Psychotherapists do not prescribe meds. Psychiatrists do.
Can you provide diagnostic codes?
Yes, for insurance purposes. My approach is not mainly reliant on medical diagnostic codes, however when it is relevant and needed, I can/do provide.
What if you feel we are not a good fit?
My Client's best interest is my top priority, and if I think that for relevant reasons we are not a good fit that will benefit you, I will communicate that openly and directly.
